I started in the classroom, where I learned that investing in people can change what they see as possible for themselves. That lesson has stayed with me through every chapter of my career: as an educator, executive coach, elected school board member, and organizational advisor. Across those roles, my purpose has remained the same: advance the lives of others and help people turn possibility into action.
 

My work has also taught me that leadership requires more than a strong vision. It takes sound judgment, honest relationships, and the ability to move people forward when the path is unclear. Lasting change depends on what we build together: the capacity to make thoughtful decisions, navigate challenges, and sustain progress beyond any one leader.
 

I founded Advancing Lives to put that belief into practice. I partner with leaders and organizations to move from aspiration to action through leadership development, coaching, and strategic consulting. I bring research, practical tools, and experience leading in settings where decisions have real consequences for people and communities. My goal is to help leaders strengthen their own practice while building the capacity of those around them.
 

My doctoral work at Harvard deepened that commitment and sharpened the questions I bring to my work. How do we prepare people for the responsibilities of leadership? How do we help them move from individual ambition to collective responsibility? And how do we build organizations that continue to grow because people have the judgment, relationships, and support to lead well? These are the questions that guide my work and the future I am helping to build.
